We have our own small children, so we know only too well what additional demands they place on your holiday. With kids, it’s the little touches that make the difference, like having a small selection of bath toys, or trikes for the garden. Just tell us what you need before you arrive, and we’ll organise it. The house has a selection of toys, children’s books, beach toys, some children’s DVDs, and games. The kitchen has a large open-plan play area and overlooks the back garden so you can easily keep an eye on them. The whole garden is secure so you won’t have to worry about them wandering off.

Although we’ve furnished Shores House to be as beautiful and luxurious as possible, there’s masses of space for your children to run around and play. Our kids have always loved the house and its warm atmosphere, and we are sure yours will too. Cornwall is a paradise for children and teenagers and on sunny days the beach and the sea will keep them occupied until sundown. When the sun’s not out, there are probably more activities and attractions on our doorstep than anywhere else in Europe. Just click on the Links page for some suggestions.

In Cornwall, you also have the best choice of top restaurants outside London. If you’re planning an evening out, again just let us know prior to your arrival and we’ll arrange for a babysitting service. With a little notice, we can also arrange for children’s entertainment – anything from clowns to magicians.
